Yesterday, ACOSS and UNSW Sydney released new report showing how the lives of millions of people on the lowest incomes improved dramatically in 2020 with the introduction of crisis support, but since then, Federal Government policies have reversed this extraordinary progress.

In the lead up to an election, this is a damning statement that, instead of building on their good work to end poverty in Australia, the Federal Government has chosen to reverse the gains made and has put us on track to be worse off in the future. 

The report has made headlines across the country but we need to bring the story home to every MP so they understand this is the reality for thousands of voters in their community.
